Biography

Lory Zakarian, LL.B., JD, is a skilled and passionate criminal and penal lawyer. Since 2019, she has been practicing in criminal law and providing dedicated criminal defense services. Before entering private practice, Me Zakarian gained valuable experience as an articling student and as a clerk at the Quebec Court of Appeal in Montreal.

She earned her law degree and holds both a Juris Doctor (JD) in Common Law Studies and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the Université de Sherbrooke, obtained between 2015-2016 and 2013-2016, respectively.

Beyond her professional work, Me Zakarian has been deeply involved in volunteer initiatives. She contributed to the Legal Information Center in Concordia University from September 2015 to May 2016, assisting in drafting legal information pamphlets and making legal concepts more accessible to students. These experiences have helped her develop strong skills in client service, teamwork, and public speaking.

Fluent in French, English, and Armenian, Me Zakarian is committed to responding to the needs of the clientele. Her professional and academic achievements, combined with her community involvement, reflect her dedication to justice.
